The Spirit Of The PositionThe Facility Manager oversees the operations of a location(s), under the direction of the Operations Manager to ensure 24/7 professional parking management. As a company devoted to promoting an employee-focused servant leadership culture, the Facilities Manager will support the programs and initiatives originating from our home office and help to support the individual needs of their operational teams throughout their assigned location(s).
PrincipalJob Duties
- Lead, direct, and develop team of employees at parking location(s).
- Manage, plan, schedule, train and direct the activities of on‑site employees.
- Identify high potential employees to support the organization’s continued growth.
- Process payroll; ensure timely sign‑off on hours, collaborate with the local payroll department and Human Resources Business Partner to ensure wage and hour compliance.
- Execute plan for the opening of newly assigned locations.
- Financially manage assigned locations, ensuring adherence to budget and revenue enhancements.
- Oversee the transition of newly assigned locations from contract acceptance through opening, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Develop client relationships and business retention.
- Organize and train parking management skills for Assistant Managers and Team Leaders.
- Implement and deliver all requirements outlined in the contractual agreement between LAZ Parking and our clients.
- Assist the region with operations preparation for potential new locations, including rate surveys and ticket pulls.
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial and operational reports as required.
- Maximize revenue, manage expenses, and maintain customer satisfaction by upholding high service thresholds and initiatives aligned with client expectations.
- Plan, schedule, train, and direct activities of Assistant Managers and Team Leaders, ensuring compliance with Collective Bargaining Agreements.
- Implement and complete other projects, programs, and initiatives arising from the operation of assigned location(s).
- Participate in labor contract management if applicable to assigned location(s).
- Communicate with local police department and emergency management teams regarding operations.
- Organize and oversee event operations within LAZ Parking.
- Monitor, review, and analyze market rate structures.
- Additional related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years in a management role.
- Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and general Microsoft Office applications.
- Parking management experience is preferred.
- Experience with financial statements, accounting, P&L reports, and budgeting.
- Flexible in schedule to meet operational needs, including occasional work outside regular hours.
