** Position Purpose*

This position supervises and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the PB Insurance Credits team, which is responsible for credit resolution activities. It ensures that accurate billing, collections, and posting processes are followed within the medical group revenue operations throughout the enterprise. The role aims to motivate staff to achieve the highest levels of customer service and financial performance. This position reports directly to the Credits Manager.
** ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS*

Supervises and coordinates the daily operations of the PB Insurance Credits team, providing hands on management of activities and workflows to achieve optimal performance and productivity within the revenue cycle for the enterprise.
Oversees the assigned tasks of PB Insurance Credit colleagues and their work queues across the organization.
Ensures effective execution of colleagues' duties, promoting accurate account management.
Monitors corrections related to discrepancies, outstanding items, and exceptions, reviewing documentation in the appropriate systems.
Reviews and tracks data regarding credit resolution activities, makes recommendations for problem solving based on colleagues' findings, and reports to the Credits Manager.
Supervises credit resolution activities to ensure timely submission, tracking, trending, and reporting to key stakeholders.
Prepares service level metrics and explanatory summaries for the Credits Manager and other enterprise leadership as requested.
Participates in redesigning credit resolution processes and systems to enhance service, data integrity, and staff productivity/quality, aiming to achieve departmental goals and desired outcomes.
Engages in continuous quality improvement initiatives within the PB Insurance
Credits team and other functional areas to streamline processes.
Evaluates potential new colleagues and makes hiring recommendations.
Assists in identifying training needs and collaborates with the department trainer to develop and conduct training programs, including on the job training.
Helps establish performance standards for PB Credit colleagues, monitors their performance against these standards, and provides immediate feedback to facilitate improvement.
Completes projects on time as assigned by the Credits Manager or other PFS leadership.
Develops and conducts meaningful performance appraisals for PB Credit colleagues. Address colleague performance issues such as absenteeism and tardiness, conducting appropriate counseling or disciplinary sessions.
Develops and improvement plans identifying necessary training and development to achieve superior performance through formal education, competency reviews, classroom training, on the job training, and coaching.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Maintains a working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as Trinity Health's Integrity and Compliance Program and Code of Conduct, ensuring adherence that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.
(Salary Range: $27.9645-$41.9467)
** MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS*
* Comprehensive knowledge of revenue cycle functions and systems, typically obtained through an Associate's degree in Business or Healthcare Administration or a related field, combined with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in revenue management, specifically in PB insurance credits resolution or related revenue cycle activities. An equivalent combination of education and experience is also acceptable. Experience in a complex multi entity healthcare organization or a large, complex revenue cycle service is preferred.
Exhibits supervisory skills focused on team building and strong leadership, with the capability to provide clear oversight and coordination for the department while also functioning as an individual contributor.
Previous supervisory or team leader experience is preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with all levels of colleagues to expedite revenue cycle processes while supporting customer service.
Effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills, alongside the ability to analyze data and prepare relevant reports and summaries.
Strong organizational skills in managing direct reporting relationships.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
