Job Purpose

The Dive Center Supervisor is a site-based role responsible for supporting the Dive Center Manager in the efficient, safe, and high-quality delivery of all dive operations and underwater tourism activities within the assigned asset.

Acting as the senior instructional authority on-site, this role combines operational oversight, team supervision, and direct guest engagement. The Dive Center Supervisor ensures that all diving activities—including training, guided excursions, and retail operations—are delivered to the highest professional, safety, and service standards.

The role plays a key part in maintaining operational excellence, developing team capability, and ensuring alignment with environmental sustainability objectives within a luxury marine tourism environment.

Key Responsibilities 1. General Responsibilities
  • Support the Dive Center Manager in the day-to-day operations and overall performance of the dive center.
  • Assist in supervising and coordinating the dive team, including instructors, dive masters, and support staff.
  • Contribute to the development and standardization of dive center operations across multiple assets.
  • Ensure alignment with environmental and sustainability requirements related to marine life and underwater tourism.
  • Maintain flexibility to support multi-site operations, including remote work and on-site presence as required.
2. Pre-Opening Support
  • Assist in the setup, planning, and operational readiness of dive center facilities and assets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams during the delivery phase to ensure operational targets and timelines are achieved.
  • Support the development of operational procedures, safety protocols, and training standards.
3. Operational Responsibilities (Post-Opening)
  • Support the Dive Center Manager in maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.
  • Oversee the delivery of all dive center activities, ensuring they are conducted safely, professionally, and in line with training agency standards.
  • Lead dive excursions and deliver training programs as required, acting as the senior instructor on-site.
  • Ensure all instructors adhere to agency standards and adopt a safety-first approach in all activities.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of dive operations, training, certifications, and guest activities.
  • Support retail and commercial activities, including dive-related sales and guest engagement.
  • Maintain the overall presentation, cleanliness, and organization of the dive center.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with guests, team members, and stakeholders.
4. Health, Safety, Environment & Quality
  • Ensure safety is always the highest priority across all dive operations.
  • Enforce compliance with all diving standards, emergency procedures, and risk management protocols.
  • Promote environmental stewardship and responsible diving practices aligned with conservation objectives.
  • Support regular safety reviews, audits, and continuous monitoring of operational risks.
5. Policies, Procedures & Reporting
