General Description of the Job (tasks, duties, roles, expectations)

The Project Manager coordinates and directs a project team’s engineering, design, procurement and construction efforts to meet a customer’s project objectives in accordance with the terms defined in the contract applicable to the work. The project manager provides, endorses, and enforces the applicable project principles, practices, and guidelines to ensure efficient and safe use and allocation of the team’s and the firm’s resources.

The Project Manager exercises judgment and experience when applying these principles to ensure that enough alternatives are considered by the team and that the optimal solution(s) are achieved with schedule and budget constraints.

Additionally, the Project Manager cultivates new work with clients and continuously pursues additional opportunities to provide customers with engineering, design, and construction services.

Project Responsibilities

The Project Manager has direct responsibility to ITAC’s customers for the engineering, design, procurement, and construction services and deliverables. The Manager ensures sufficient quality reviews are built into the execution plan, meets established scope, budget, and schedule commitments with quality services and deliverables, and maintains positive client relations.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical project management in the construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire project teams.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as required.
