As a tenantconstruction manager
, you’ll oversee real estate construction projects to meet the operational needs of Progressive’s business units. You’ll manage every phase of a construction project, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating with landlords, contractors, architects/engineers, and external vendors, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and meets quality standards. You’ll collaborate closely with various internal partners, including transactions, designers, procurement, sourcing, facilities, corporate art, and telecom.
Typical projects include relocations, expansions, downsizes, tenant build‑outs, reconfigurations, and building improvements. You’ll also manage multiple assignments and projects in a fast‑paced environment and effectively resolve conflicting priorities.
This remote position includes frequent overnight travel, including weekends, and requires the candidate to currently live in Ohio. Frequency of travel is 1–2 times per month.
Must-have qualifications- A minimum of five years project related experience
- OR Bachelor's degree or higher in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or related field and a minimum of two years project related experience
- Strong working knowledge of the commercial construction industry, including construction documents, coordination processes, and quality control requirements, supporting execution across multiple projects.
- Ability to manage end-to-end construction processes, including scheduling, estimating, negotiations, complex problem solving, and value engineering to drive efficient project delivery.
- Demonstrated experience managing the RFI and submittal lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution, design coordination, and adherence to project standards.
- Demonstrated advanced project management and communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Project, Autodesk, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- $81,400 - $119,500/year depending on position level and experience
