Sales Manager in Training ; Brockville

Responsibilities

• Managing sales team and floor operations
• Training and developing people; building a talent pool of future managers
• Recruitment: conducting interviews, hiring, onboarding, and ensuring a positive orientation process for new associates
• Resolving customer issues and providing seamless service experience
• Managing daily store operations and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
• Ensuring general safety and security of stores, associates, and customers
• Studying the competition
• Conducting daily and weekly sales meetings
• Preparing and managing sales promotions and contests
• Maintaining open communication with all store departments
• Being available and approachable; supporting the team of associates
• Team development; creating a workplace of teamwork, support, and collaboration
• Liaising with home office to provide feedback and access to information; ensuring associates and managers have needed resources
• Preparing and conducting effective and engaging meetings
• Supporting the General Manager and other department managers
• Completing daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
• Performing various other duties as assigned
