EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE AND FACILITIES
Alumni Association (AA) and Resource Development (RD) will provide strategic and operational leadership for financial management, administrative services, and facilities across AA and RD; be accountable for aligning financial strategy, facilities infrastructure, and financial resource planning with Institute and departmental priorities; advise executive leadership on financial implications of strategic decisions, bringing a forward‑looking, data‑informed perspective; serve as the senior advisor on financial, administrative and facilities matters, leading long‑range planning, ensuring effective stewardship of resources, and driving continuous improvement in financial management and facilities operations;
directs a team of administrative and support staff; and be accountable for organization design, talent management and development of the finance and facilities team.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of ten years of financial and administrative leadership experience; higher education or complex nonprofit environment preferred.
- Demonstrated success leading financial strategy in complex organizations.
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive cross‑functional initiatives.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Highly self‑directed with ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience hiring, training, evaluating, professionally developing, and performance managing team members.
- Experience providing strategic direction to other senior leaders as well as direct reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels.
- High degree of discretion and sound judgment in handling confidential matters.
- Advanced degree.
- Advanced Excel expertise (including pivot tables and complex workbooks).
- Experience with SAP and Brio Query or Cognos.
- Familiarity with PowerPoint and presentation tools.
- Knowledge of fundraising operations and experience working with volunteers.
This is a hybrid position with a combination of on‑campus and remote work.
