Workplace Operations Supervisor
Position at HMM that oversees the smooth, efficient, and professional operation of the U.S. headquarters and remote offices.
Essential Job Functions / Duties- Administrative Operations:
Develop, implement, and improve administrative processes and systems for U.S. headquarters, customer support center, and remote sales offices. Manage office budgets, track expenses, optimize operational costs, and oversee procurement of office supplies, equipment, and services. - Facilities & Workplace Management:
Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with building management and external vendors across all North American locations. Plan and execute office moves, expansions, and space optimization initiatives. Maintain workplace standards for safety and cleanliness. - Employee
Experience:
Lead workplace initiatives, events, and programs that support company culture. Address employee requests and concerns related to the workplace. - Risk & Compliance:
Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards and emergency preparedness plans. Manage incident reporting and resolution related to facilities or administration. Support audits and compliance reviews as needed. - Perform other duties as assigned.
- Operational efficiency and process improvement skills.
- Vendor negotiation and relationship management experience.
- Budgeting and financial oversight capability.
- Problem‑solving and decision‑making ability.
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills in a dynamic environment.
- Attention to detail and follow‑through.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in office management, workplace operations, or facilities management.
- Office environment, moderate noise level. Regular standing, sitting, walking, and computer work. Occasional lifting or pushing of up to 20 pounds.
- Travel up to 15% may be required.
