Position Overview: MRI Software is seeking a Team Lead – Professional Services to join our South African team. This role will be responsible for leading a small team delivering consulting, implementation and managed services within the MRI Property Central / MDA product suite.
The successful candidate will provide day-to-day leadership, mentorship, and operational oversight to a team consisting of Consultants and a Project Manager, ensuring the successful delivery of client projects and services. This role will also work closely with clients, internal stakeholders and leadership to drive service excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:- Lead, mentor, and support a team of Professional Services Consultants and a Project Manager
- Manage team workload, priorities, resource allocation, and delivery timelines
- Drive successful implementation and consulting outcomes for MRI Property Central / MDA clients
- Act as an escalation point for client concerns, delivery risks and operational challenges
- Foster strong client relationships through professional communication and service delivery
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Sales, Support, Client Experience, Product and Marketing
- Monitor project progress with Project Manager and ensure delivery standards, quality and timelines are met
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience
- Support team development through coaching, performance management and skills growth
- Assist with reporting, forecasting and operational tasks and planning for the Professional Services function
- Ensure a consistent, professional and customer‑focused experience across all engagements
- 3–5+ years’ experience in a customer‑facing software, consulting, implementation or professional services environment
- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Professional communication skills with the ability to confidently articulate technical and functional concepts (written and verbal)
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
- Excellent organisational, administration and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
- Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills
- Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Experience with in the property management software industry or familiarity with Property Central / MDA would be advantageous
