Manager, Environmental Services

Responsibilities

The Manager inspects assigned areas, ensuring compliance with established cleaning standards; determines cleaning effectiveness by staff and assesses the need for special cleaning; reports items in need of repair or unsatisfactory condition; interviews, hires, schedules, assigns work to, and evaluates the performance of supervised employees; prepares productivity reports and monitors work scheduling for Environmental Service Technicians and Supervisors; completes quality control inspections and audits;

completes employee performance evaluations in a timely manner; collects and interacts with the linen process; flexes work schedules when necessary; acts as Manager on Call for weekends once every six weeks; and performs all duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.

• Organizational & Time Management – Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

• Three (3) – five (5) years of experience in a hospital and/or hospitality setting.
• Three (3) years of supervision.
• Associate degree in Business Administration or related field.
