Client Solutions Director | Remote, Ohio or Indianapolis

This position will be fully remote and requires the applicant to reside in either Ohio or Indianapolis. As the Client Solutions Director, you’ll work closely with your team of Client Solutions Advisors to ensure the overall Client Security First mantra is upheld. The role includes executive-level client‑facing responsibilities and building a trusted advisor status at that level. Internally, the Director will lead teams dedicated to pre‑sales excellence in security advisement, provide clear leadership goals, and guide the team to maintain overall quality throughout the pre‑sales process.

The Director serves as the single point of contact for Client Advisors to address concerns and questions about process, procedure, technical, and client‑related issues. Additionally, the Director will assist in planning, executing, and delegating strategic initiatives for the company, area, and region, including coordinating with Sales for regional planning around events, marketing, targeted training, and overall regional growth.

• Provide team leadership, mentoring, and development of Client Solutions resources
• Assist the Sales Area VP and Regional Directors in developing sales, marketing, and training plans for the appropriate region(s)
• Perform people‑leader coaching, goal setting, and annual reviews
• Spearhead the development of new Client Solutions business motions, procedures, and standards
• Promote communication and coordination across the Client Solutions leadership team to ensure continuity, consistency, and collaboration among various teams
• Attend client meetings as needed with Client Solutions staff to ensure engagement success
• Coordinate appropriate pre‑sales resources to enhance opportunity success
• Meet quarterly and annual quota objectives by partnering with the sales team and adding value throughout the sales motion, including:
• Facilitating new discussions by leveraging peer and industry network contacts
• Telling the Optiv story as the market‑leading cyber security advisor and solutions partner
• Performing requirements analysis and qualification of opportunities
• Coordinating internal Optiv resources for demonstrations and management of security technology evaluations
• Partnering with internal Optiv teams to align client expectations with the entire Optiv solution portfolio, ensuring service delivery excellence
• Managing partner relationships with our vendor partners
• Staying abreast of industry trends and news to provide thought leadership, support, analysis, and guidance to clients and internal Optiv groups

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is required
• Certifications:
  
  Industry‑recognized certifications preferred
• Travel:
  Up to 50% travel will be required consistently
• Proven people‑leadership skills with demonstrated success in hiring, building, and retaining high‑performing teams

Salary: $ – $ per year. The hiring range provided for this role is informed by responsibilities, work experience, education, and other market influences.
