Position: Sales Manager in Training Northeastern Ontario)
Overview  Leon’s Furniture Ltd. (LFL) seeks a self‑motivated Sales Manager in Training who is enthusiastic, hardworking, and driven toward success. The selected candidate will embody our core values of Honesty, Integrity, Hard Work, and Family.
Responsibilities   Manage the sales team and oversee floor operations.
Train and develop people, building a talent pool of future managers.
Recruit, conduct interviews, hire and onboard recent associates; ensure a positive orientation process.
Resolve customer issues and provide a seamless service experience.
Manage daily store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Ensure general safety and security of stores, associates, and customers.
Analyze competitive activity.
Conduct daily and weekly sales meetings.
Plan and manage sales promotions and contests.
Maintain open communication with all departments.
Be available and approachable; support the team of associates.
Develop teamwork, support, and collaboration among staff.
Liaise with home office to share feedback and provide necessary information.
Prepare and conduct effective and engaging meetings.
Support the General Manager and other department managers.
Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
Perform various other duties as assigned.

Compensation  The starting rate for this position is X plus additional income based on volume and location.
