Operational Development Manager

Location:

Clark, New Jersey Operations Hub, United States

You will be the operational representative with Global Marketing, autonomously overseeing the launch of new products at the Clark, New Jersey Operations Hub for the US.

A Day in the Life
  • Guide Marketing in new product brief and conception creation to ensure design‑to agility, profitability, and L4TF
  • Oversee and manage roadmaps, product launches and projects in key categories for the Brand
  • Prepare and track project timelines
  • Perform feasibility cost and COG/GM analysis
  • Coordinate and communicate risk assessment
  • Support divisional teams on project launches and processes as needed
  • Partner with Operations and R&I on harmonization, profitability, and sustainability efforts
  • Present launches and projects to operational and brand leadership on a regular cadence
  • Partner with international key stakeholders on brand and category initiatives as lead or support
  • Maintain professional knowledge of new or emerging trends within product development
  • Perform other duties as needed
We Are Looking For
  • Education: A completed Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering or a related engineering/technical discipline is required
  • Experience:
    • 5‑7+ years of experience in project management for launching global products, including cross‑functional work with operations teams such as Manufacturing, Sourcing, Packaging, Brand Marketing, and Sustainability is required
    • Experience in cosmetics, consumer goods, or related field is preferred
  • Travel to vendors and plants will be a requirement (10‑15% of time)
  • Proficient PC skills - MS Office and ability to build executive presentations; proficient in MS Project
  • Good communication skills to interact effectively at all levels of the organization and with suppliers
  • Strong organizational skills to manage documentation, materials, and information
  • Assume a leadership role of Brand Development team and special projects as needed
  • Develop and maintain professional knowledge of new or emerging trends and technologies
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a full‑time, permanent basis is required. No immigration support/sponsorship offered for this role.
  • Ability to be onsite in the office 3 days a week; this is an essential function of the position, including the NY and NJ sites
