Operations Supervisor
Pay Rate: $30-35 per hour
Summary- Duration: 4 Month Contract
- Work Mode: Training onsite daily; would move to hybrid model once training is complete.
- Location: Austin, TX
- Manage resource planning, monitor workflows, oversee day-to-day operational activities, and measure and report on team productivity and individual performance.
- Provide feedback and coaching for managers and non-managers to ensure a productive and engaged team.
- Lead or participate in stakeholder engagement sessions and work in partnership with brokers to improve the company experience.
- Maintain a controlled risk environment and ensure compliance with business Professional Standards and Operation team Policies and Procedures.
- Manage escalated calls, complaints, questions, and queries as necessary and oversee the complaints management system.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to Operations team Executives on systems, documentation, and reporting.
- Supervise operations specialists supporting clients with renewal coordination and document creation.
- Build relationships with colleagues from multiple remote offices and drive continuous improvement.
- Communicate feedback within the team and supported offices, identify trends, and resolve escalated service issues.
- Strong communication skills for effective verbal and written communication with remote company teams.
- Good organizational and time management skills to multi-task and work effectively under pressure.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency, including basic Excel formulas, pivot tables, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Managerial aptitude with a desire to coach, mentor, and develop the team.
- Ability to work and adjust in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Minimum 5 years of total work experience, with 3 years in insurance or financial services.
- Minimum 3 years of prior lead or supervisory experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Experience in Commercial Lines Insurance.
- Experience with change management to guide teams through organizational changes.
