Position: Project Manager - T3G | Remote - Colorado New Colorado Springs, CO

Job Summary

Trace3 Government Program Manager is responsible for the strategic direction, management, and execution of a program to achieve mission‑critical goals of the customer and the company. The Program Manager collaborates with Engineering, Sales, Recruiting, and customer teams, and ensures that all programs are delivered efficiently, effectively, and in full compliance with the Statement of Work. The role requires strong leadership, communication skills, and a proven ability to manage complex initiatives and deliver long‑term business outcomes.

Job Functions
  • Lead program execution of assigned statement of work
  • Establish and track program objectives and metrics to evaluate implementation, coordinating with customers for high satisfaction
  • Coordinate with the Engineering Lead to optimize resource allocation for skill requirements while achieving financial goals
  • Develop and monitor budgets for projects and programs, ensuring financial accountability and efficient resource allocation
  • Represent the team to Trace3 leadership or internal stakeholders to address issues, questions, and concerns of team members
  • Foster a high‑performance culture built on accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
  • Serve as the primary interface and point of contact with government program authorities and representatives on program/project regarding contract growth opportunities
  • Act as a proactive problem solver, adapting quickly to changing priorities
  • Brief senior leadership on overall contract health, anticipating challenges and providing solutions
  • Assist in transition activities for contract start and completion
  • Develop statements of work and cost estimates with the engineering team for potential opportunities
  • Ensure the project(s) and personnel maintain proper direction in fulfillment of the contract scope of work
  • Act as a point of contact for the HC Recruiting team for staff augmentation and future resourcing needs
  • Work collaboratively with the project team and clients, conducting periodic visits to assess project status and contribute to administrative or technical work in the field
  • Formulate and enforce work standards, assignments, schedules, and reviews of contract deliverables
  • Provide contract budgets and reporting to CORs, ensuring accuracy of all budgetary items presented
  • Review and comment on progress reports, work plans, and other documents for compliance with company standards and contract requirements
Required Skills and Experience
  • Proven ability to lead diverse teams, delegate effectively, and manage conflicts in a matrix environment
  • Minimum of 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in program or project management, managing complex programs or portfolios
  • Familiarity with the Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR)
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to brief senior executives and deliver testimony or public presentations

$150,000 - $180,000 USD
