Manager, Lifecycle Contract Management - APAC

Remote is a global employment platform that enables businesses to recruit, pay, and manage international teams. We are hiring a Manager, Lifecycle Contract Management to own the planning, implementation, and service level for the lifecycle contracts management team in APAC (India, Southeast Asia, Japan).

• Serve as subject‑matter expert and escalation point on all contract management topics.
• Lead, coach, and develop the regional team to build high performance.
• Own recruitment, training, mentoring, and supervision of the team.
• Collaborate across Operations, Product, Engineering, Legal and Customer Success to enhance integrations, processes, workflows, and SOPs in alignment with business objectives.
• Improve and optimise team processes, workflows, and tools, identifying automation opportunities for quality, efficiency, and scale.
• Drive initiatives from conception to scale.
• Advocate for Remote’s values and team goals internally and externally.

• Track record of experience in HR operations across multiple APAC countries with deep knowledge of contracts management and labor law.
• Experience scaling or managing HR operations across diverse APAC markets with deep expertise in local labor compliance.
• Experience in a fast‑paced, international scale‑up environment.
• Hands‑on people management experience with a coaching mindset.
• Tech savvy, comfortable with digital tools.
• Goal‑oriented, accustomed to a service‑level environment with a focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
• Startup and remote working experience preferred.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Experience in maintaining employee data confidentiality and privacy protocols.

• Reporting to: Senior Manager, Lifecycle Contract Management
• Team: EOR Operations
• Location: APAC (prioritised for applicants in India, Southeast Asia, Japan)
• Start date: As soon as possible

• Competitive salary range: $48,850 – $110,000 USD (dependent on location, experience and market).
