Manager, Technology Delivery; Application Development - REMOTE

The Manager, Technology Delivery role leads a high‑performing agile software development team to deliver high‑quality products on time, while mentoring staff and driving continuous improvement in processes, tools, and talent development.

• Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the software development team, setting clear goals and fostering a motivating work environment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and timelines; develop project plans and allocate resources to ensure timely delivery.
• Offer technical guidance and expertise, ensuring architectural design, coding standards, and testing practices meet the highest quality and performance standards.
• Identify potential risks and challenges, develop mitigation strategies, and create contingency plans to minimize impact on project schedules.
• Engage with product owners, business leaders, and cross‑functional teams to provide status updates, address concerns, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by collecting data, analyzing metrics, and implementing process enhancements to increase productivity and quality.
• Direct staff in day‑to‑day activities, ensuring compliance with procedures and performance expectations; oversee hiring, promotions, performance appraisals, compensation decisions, counseling, and terminations.
• Maintain staff development through coaching, training needs assessment, and facilitation of learning opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related business field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Seven (7) years of experience in a software development role or as a subject‑matter expert.
• Three (3) years of resource management experience.
• Five (5) years in a senior or subject‑matter expert position.
• Experience mentoring teams on Agile best practices.
• Experience in the financial industry or another highly regulated industry is a plus.
