The Assistant Manager will oversee related functions and activities of the OTB and provide assistance as needed to the Site Manager.

• Understand in depth what the wagers are and accurately explain to customers how to wager and what the bets mean.
• Accurately and expeditiously input players club card information and W2g's.
• Assist Manager with new employee training (OTB and HHR terminals).
• Accurately and consistently count change.
• Balance safe and take responsibility for evening safe.
• Step in as back up for Manager in Manager's absence.
• Work or be on-call each weekend as scheduled.
• Assist with site maintenance list and complete calendar for weekly service on terminals.
• Maintain office and bathroom supplies for daily use, track inventory and alert Manager when items need restocking.
• Maintain and verify Pepsi orders weekly and keep coolers stocked.
• Purchase necessary supplies when needed in Manager's absence.
• Remove any patron causing disruption or engaging in abusive behavior toward other customers and/or staff and complete accurate documentation of incident. Contact local law enforcement for assistance when necessary.
• Use sound judgment to determine when situations arise that require assistance from the Manager or Security Officer.
• Keep Manager and/or other Assistant Manager apprised of any problems or concerns daily.
• Determine when to send personnel home during slow business periods.
• Adjust schedule to meet needs of the site, leaving early when appropriate.
• Clean site as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Proficient understanding and use of basic mathematical skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• High degree of attention to detail and accuracy.

• Knowledge of mechanical operations.
• Two years of related experience in the gaming industry preferred.

• Prolonged periods standing and/or walking.
• Regular bending and stooping.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
