Position Overview
As a Manager in Managed Services
, you will be responsible for driving team metrics including utilization, revenue, project management, client satisfaction and delivery efficiency. This person will provide leadership, mentoring, and training to employees, while handling the distribution of work and ensuring projects are completed and implementations are successful according to project plans. Being a resource for escalations, participating in client committees, as well as cross departmental communication will be other key functions in this role.
We understand the need to provide a flexible working environment partnered with team collaboration and socialisation. Therefore, we operate a hybrid working model with 3 days of working from home per week. This role is based in the Cape Town office.
Responsibilities- Managing PTO to ensure coverage and continuity of service delivery.
- Build & maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Being a resource for escalations, participating in client groups, as well as cross-departmental communication.
- Accurate and timely collection, data processing, and reviewing of financial source documents for clients (Interims, Audits, Tax Returns, Budgets, Rent Rolls, etc.).
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators for team performance and service delivery, making adjustments as needed.
- Solutions for unique situations and client escalations.
- Embed client‑centricity; deliver customer service at or above client & stakeholder expectations.
- Filter team questions to appropriate resources, supporting core processes and enabling functions.
- Assist with or lead special projects, Innovation Day, operating mechanisms, and other department initiatives such as data clean‑up projects.
- Supervise team members attendance, PTO, and payroll using Workday.
- Foster an inclusive, positive work environment; organize team building events and meetings. Conduct performance reviews, and addressing team issues promptly. Having full oversight of the entire team.
- Develop high performance teams by diagnosing, understanding, and facilitating team dynamics. Attracting, developing, and retaining top performers. Observe and track growth of direct reports, create customized goals, provide constructive feedback, and coordinate monthly 1‑on‑1s.
- Oversee key recruiting, onboarding, training, and talent development programs.
