Qualifications:
As Senior Director Dealer Network Management Linde Material Handling Germany, you shape the strategic direction of the national dealer network in Germany and are responsible for its successful positioning in the market. In this key role, you manage a high-performance dealer network with an annual turnover of over 500 million euros and create the framework conditions for sustainable growth and long-term company success.
- You are responsible for the development and implementation of the national dealer network strategy and continuously optimize the structure, territory allocation, and contractual framework conditions. You also identify and evaluate potentials for acquisitions and consolidations in the dealer network (M&A initiatives).
- To achieve the defined sales, market share, and profitability targets, you manage all relevant measures and ensure sustainable target achievement through regular performance reviews, data-based analyses (e.g., market, pipeline, inventory), and transparent reporting.
- You are responsible for the implementation and compliance with dealer and brand standards and manage targeted incentive programs to increase performance in sales, service, and aftermarket.
- With targeted training, coaching, and support measures, you continuously develop the dealer organization and sustainably increase performance in sales, service, and after-market.
- You conduct central dealer negotiations (e.g., performance and acceptance agreements), manage framework contracts, and special conditions and coordinate order and delivery planning in close coordination with internal interfaces.
- You take over the professional and disciplinary leadership of your team (10+ employees) and are responsible for their development, forward-looking succession planning, and the promotion of cross-functional cooperation.
Your strengths:
- You have a completed degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or a technical field and ideally an additional qualification, such as an MBA.
- You have several years of management experience of at least ten years in dealer or sales network management or in a comparable commercial management role.
- You have a deep understanding of dealer business models, service organizations, and markets for industrial capital goods, which you have built up in your previous career.
- Experience in leading larger teams and managing complex partner and stakeholder ecosystems is part of your professional profile.
- You have an excellent financial understanding, especially for P&L control, profitability levers, and commercial governance.
- You are proficient in negotiating commercial agreements and building and managing strategic partnerships.
- Very good communication skills, confident stakeholder management, and experience in accompanying change processes are part of your strengths.
- Fluent German and English enable you to communicate confidently on a national and international level.
- A high willingness to travel within Germany completes your profile.
