Program Manager
Oversight and coordination of multiple projects within a program, managing dependencies across work streams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, coordinating cross‑functional teams, managing budgets and resources, mitigating risks, mentoring and coaching Project Managers, and communicating regularly with stakeholders. The role requires strong leadership, excellent organization skills, and the ability to manage complex initiatives from conception to completion. It also includes direct project management responsibilities as needed.
The ideal candidate will have technical knowledge and experience with complex workflows.

OverviewHybrid position—must be able to work on‑site at Sentara Park, Virginia Beach, Virginia several days per week, including training periods.
Education- High School / GED (Required)
- Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
- One of the following certifications or equivalent, must obtain within 1 year of hire:
- Project Management Institute Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM)
- Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Project Management Institute Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP)
- Project Management Institute Program Management Professional (PgMP)
- Scrum, SAFe or equivalent
- 6+ years of experience in program or project management with a proven track record in managing large‑scale, complex projects or programs (Required). 8+ years of experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
- Demonstrated experience in leading cross‑functional teams and managing multiple stakeholder relationships.
- Healthcare experience.
- Experience in care delivery (ambulatory, hospital, post‑acute), health plan, corporate/shared services, and/or technical project management.
- Technical knowledge and experience with complex workflows.
