• Plan, schedule, organize and direct application engineering, field installation and start‑up of assigned projects.
• Ensure projects are effectively executed within budgeted cost and time schedules and maintain positive cash flow.
• Act as the key interface with the customer, maximizing customer satisfaction, safety and quality assurance on all assigned projects.
• Manage high-volume or critical accounts and direct reports as required.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

• Expert project management experience in a technical environment (building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems).
• Advanced coaching, mentoring and staff development skills; strong leadership orientation.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint); solid programming and troubleshooting ability.
• Basic knowledge of IT networking principles.
• Advanced financial analytical skills, including cost control.

Education:

College degree, trade school or equivalent experience.

Minimum experience:

7–10 years in relevant engineering, field service or project management.

• 5 years supervisory experience.

Preferred Experience (not required):

• Experience in one or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation.

The anticipated compensation for this position is $107,000 – $150,000. This salary range reflects the assigned target market range within the primary geographic region the requisition is posted. If the position is posted in multiple locations or is a remote position, the salary range may vary. Individual pay rates will vary depending on the job, department, and location, as well as the individual skills, experience, certifications, specific licenses and education of the applicant.
