Senior Project Manager - Real Estate

Build what moves the world. Shape what comes next.
At Siemens Mobility, we are redefining transportation-connecting people, systems, and cities in smarter, more sustainable ways. From locomotives to railroad crossings, we power the infrastructure that keeps economies moving. But behind every innovation is something equally critical: the spaces where it all comes to life.
That's where you come in.
As we accelerate transformation and digitization across our portfolio, we are reimagining how our facilities support the next generation of innovation. This includes everything from reconfiguring complex brownfield sites to delivering new builds that enable cutting-edge technology and operations.
This is not a single-project role. It's an opportunity to own and lead a portfolio of complex, high-impact construction projects-influencing decisions that directly shape Siemens Mobility's future footprint.
The Role:
Where Strategy Meets Execution
You won't just manage projects-you'll own outcomes.
In this highly visible role, you will partner closely with internal customers, leadership, and external stakeholders to deliver a portfolio of projects across multiple sites and disciplines. From early ideation through design, construction, and closeout, you will play a critical role in shaping scope, driving decisions, and ensuring successful delivery.
You'll work across structural, mechanical, electrical, and operational environments-bringing clarity to complexity and ensuring projects stay on track, on budget, and aligned to business priorities.
What You'll Be Responsible For
* Lead a portfolio of projects (often concurrently) ranging from facility upgrades to new construction builds (up to ~$3M+)
* Own the full project lifecycle-from initial concept and feasibility through execution and closeout
* Develop and manage scope, schedules, budgets, and forecasts with a strong focus on cost and timeline discipline
* Drive decision-making during design and construction phases, influencing outcomes that impact long-term operations and customer experience
* Serve as a trusted advisor to internal clients, presenting recommendations, facilitating alignment, and guiding go/no-go decisions
* Coordinate across cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, finance, and logistics
* Lead RFP processes and vendor selection, ensuring the right partners are engaged and onboarded effectively
* Ensure adherence to PMO standards and governance, while bringing structure and clarity to complex work streams
* Represent Siemens Mobility in external settings, including interactions with contractors, agencies, and regulatory stakeholders
What Makes You a Strong Fit
We're looking for a true project leader-someone who thrives in complexity and knows how to balance competing priorities without losing sight of the bigger picture.
You bring:
* 7+ years of experience in Real Estate project management, ideally across diverse project types
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously (portfolio-based delivery)
* Experience with complex, high-value construction projects, including brownfield and new builds
* Strong working knowledge across multiple engineering disciplines (structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.)
* Confidence leading client-facing discussions, presentations, and executive updates (including multi-jurisdiction agencies)
* Experience influencing design decisions and identifying risks early
* Proficiency with tools such as Primavera, Procore, MS Office
* A Bachelor's degree (Project Management or related field preferred)
What sets you apart:
* Experience with in property project management firms or owner's rep environments
* Exposure to diverse industries and facility types
