Senior Broadband Consultant – Remote (Huntsville, AL preferred)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Broadband Consultant to lead strategic, technical, and financial advisory engagements supporting broadband network development and deployment. This role serves as a client‑facing leader, responsible for delivering high‑impact consulting services across feasibility studies, funding strategies, network planning, and program execution.
Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you’ll serve as a trusted partner to utilities, municipalities, cooperatives, and private providers, acting as their primary point of contact throughout engagements. You’ll help shape broadband strategies by leading the development of master plans, market assessments, and business cases, while offering thoughtful, executive‑level guidance to senior stakeholders. You’ll also lead consulting engagements from kickoff through final deliverables, manage cross‑functional teams, oversee network strategy and technical direction, develop financial models, and guide client decision‑making.
You’ll play a visible role in stakeholder and community engagement, support program leadership, and contribute to business growth through proposals, pricing strategies, and thought leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8–15+ years of experience in broadband, telecommunications, or infrastructure consulting.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex broadband or telecommunications projects.
- Strong background in fiber, wireless, and/or hybrid network architectures.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead project teams.
- Experience supporting public‑sector broadband initiatives (states, municipalities, co‑ops).
- Direct experience with broadband funding programs (e.g., BEAD, NTIA, USDA ReConnect).
- Experience with GIS tools, network design platforms, or engineering coordination.
- PMP or similar project management certification.
This position is designated as remote, giving you the flexibility to primarily work from home while staying actively connected to your team and projects. Availability for in‑office client meetings, team events, or training sessions is required as needed.
Benefits & Salary- Position pays between $120,000 and $150,000 annually and is an exempt position.

- Full‑time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours.
