Director of Payroll Operations & Systems Remote Leadership Opportunity | Eastern Time Zone Preferred | $175,000+ Base Salary

A global healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Director of Payroll Operations & Systems to lead a large-scale payroll function supporting a workforce of tens of thousands of employees across the United States.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for overseeing payroll operations, payroll technology, payroll tax compliance, process improvement initiatives, and a team of payroll professionals. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of deep payroll expertise, strong systems knowledge, and proven experience leading large teams in a complex, high-volume environment.

This position is fully remote
, with a preference for candidates located in or able to work Eastern Time Zone business hours.

As Director of Payroll Operations & Systems, you’ll oversee multiple payroll functions including payroll processing, payroll systems administration, payroll tax operations, compliance, and strategic payroll initiatives. You’ll partner closely with HR, Finance, Accounting, Treasury, IT, and executive leadership to ensure payroll operations run efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
