Jack Flash is looking for a Full-Time General Manager to lead our location in Effingham, Illinois

As the General Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the store while leading, developing, and supporting your team. You'll be responsible for creating an environment that delivers outstanding customer service, maintains high operational standards, and drives profitable sales. Success in this role requires strong leadership, sound decision-making, and the ability to balance administrative responsibilities with hands‑on store operations. You'll work closely with fellow managers, Home Office personnel, and vendors to ensure the store operates efficiently and meets company expectations.
EssentialResponsibilities
- Lead, coach, and supervise team members in a fair, consistent, and professional manner.
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop customer-focused employees.
- Foster a safe environment for both customers and team members.
- Ensure the store consistently meets company standards for appearance, cleanliness, and operations.
- Support the growth and development of employees while maintaining compliance with all company policies.
- Create and implement action plans to improve store performance and sales.
- Complete and review daily administrative tasks, including invoices, shift reconciliations, and required reports.
- Manage inventory levels through accurate ordering and merchandising.
- Monitor competitor fuel pricing and other local market trends.
