HR Manager, Lifecycle Contract Management - APAC

We are looking for a Manager, Contracts Management to own the planning, implementation and service level for the lifecycle contracts management team based in the APAC (India, South East Asia and Japan).

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Lifecycle Operations Contracts Management, this role is an exciting opportunity to make a personal impact in the global employment space and our growing Lifecycle Operations team.

• You’ve had experience in HR Operations across multiple countries in the APAC region, with deep knowledge of contracts management / labour law.
• You have a track record of scaling or managing HR Operations across diverse APAC markets, with deep expertise in local labor compliance and contract management.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, international, scale‑up environment.
• Hands‑on people management experience, with a coaching mindset.
• Tech‑savvy and can work with a variety of digital tools.
• Passionate about achieving goals, and used to working in a service‑level environment, focusing on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
• Startup and remote working experience is a plus.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Ability to safeguard employee data and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

• Serve as a subject‑matter expert and escalation point on all contract‑management related topics.
• Identify and provide guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to direct reports to build a high‑performance team.
• Own recruitment, training, skills enhancement, mentoring, and supervision of the regional team.
• Collaborate across multiple domains (Operations, Product, Engineering, Legal, Customer Success) and internal stakeholders to execute and improve integrations, processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
• Improve and optimise lifecycle contracts management team’s processes and workflows, identify automation opportunities to drive quality, efficiency, and scale.
• Be able to move from “scout to scale” and start things up.
• Champion Remote’s values and Lifecycle team’s goals internally and externally.

Salary range: $48,850 – $110,000 USD (full time).
