Job OverviewThis position focuses on managing multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring schedule, contract compliance, and budget adherence for state‑government administered health and human service benefits, including Medicaid and SNAP.
Responsibilities- Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and problem‑solving with customer representatives, developers, and clients.
- Oversee and coordinate multiple projects across the team to ensure each client’s deliverables are met in a timely manner.
- Review project status and budgets, recommend and track pricing for modules and development, and manage schedules while preparing status reports.
- Investigate and analyze clients’ processes, recommend solutions, lead training, manage implementation of new processes and software, and provide ongoing maintenance and support.
- Manage team sprint cycle priorities, collaborate with development leadership to plan and execute new development, and delegate testing requirements across the team.
- Monitor client requests and recommend solutions to increase team efficiency and rapid response capabilities.
- Oversee operational aspects of ongoing projects, monitor the team’s business development strategies, and serve as liaison between management and delivery team.
- Coordinate and monitor responses to current and prospective clients’ bids and requests for proposals; lead staff to produce on‑time and complete proposals.
- Assist in demonstrations of relevant products and services to current and prospective clients.
- Organize team business development strategy sessions and work closely with the team supervisor to adjust strategy as needed and track progress.
- Actively seek understanding of other products and offerings; organize product learning sessions to familiarize the full team.
- Supervise a small group (1–2) of support and entry‑level professionals.
- Engage colleagues and peers in the development and execution of strategies and work plans, and coach lead others to do the same.
- Lead firm‑wide initiatives to develop best practices and build training modules for the ASG track.
- Provide after‑hours client support and travel as required.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to organize and plan work efficiently within set time limits.
- Excellent communication skills, effectively conveying project status, issues, and information to the client and project team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (preferably Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access).
- Background in state benefit programs (e.g., Medicaid, SNAP).
- Knowledge of eligibility determination processes, CMS, and FNA.
- Self‑starter, able to manage time and deliver under aggressive or changing schedules.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field;
Master’s degree preferred. - 4+ years of experience managing complex, multi‑year projects.
- Project Management Certification (PMP) or equivalent.
Schedule flexibility due to clients located across the U.S. (multiple time zones). Remote work is available.
Compensation and BenefitsCompensation range: $93,500 - $135,000. Benefits include medical and dental care, 401(k), PTO, parental leave, and bereavement leave.
