IT Project Manager - FULLY REMOTE

Apex Systems is hiring an IT Project Manager for a large Healthcare client.

This position is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of a technology project to ensure it is completed on time and within budget. The role supports multiple applications in the clinical space, such as utilization management, care management, and appeals/grievances. This cross‑functional role requires collaboration with application development teams, product teams, and various program and project management teams across the organization.

• Manage multiple medium to large‑size projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines.
• Work with project stakeholders to develop an objective‑based comprehensive project plan.
• Create, build and update project schedules, project charters, status reports, and work breakdown structures.
• Track and report on financial data, performance, and status of multiple projects using project management tools.
• Identify key project risks and manage them to ensure the delivery of business goals.
• Develop and adhere to project timelines, maintain project records in Service Now, and review Jira/Jira Align records.
• Monitor project budget, document risks and issues, and provide weekly status updates.
• Present at investment forums for funding approvals and coordinate with testing teams.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience: At least 5 years of related experience with large cross‑functional projects.

• Critical thinking and the ability to adapt to various situations.
• Ability to work independently and drive multiple projects to successful completion.
• Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to make recommendations to upper management.

• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP‑PMI).
• Prior experience in the healthcare industry.
