Job OverviewThis role will be based in our Burlington, MA office, requiring at least three days per week onsite, with the ability to travel to other locations within the state.
We are seeking a Field Leader to support and empower Commonwealth professionals in achieving their success. The role will serve as a key leader in supporting financial advisors within our independent employee channel for LPL, driving the profitability of a region that will expand to encompass multiple branches. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the W2 advisor model and a passion for supporting succession‑planning strategies.
Responsibilities- Partner with advisors to create and implement business growth.
- Maintain high advisor retention and satisfaction.
- Support the recruitment of advisors by selling them on the mission and vision of the Employee Channel, and help transition new teams to LPL.
- Build and maintain strong advisor relationships while balancing profitability of the model.
- 7+ years of branch experience in a role such as branch manager, operations/service, or administration.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Series 7, 66, 9, and 10 licenses.
- 10+ years of financial services experience.
- Willingness to travel to branch offices as needed.
- Strategic Agility: entrepreneurial mindset and critical thinking to increase value proposition.
- Problem Solving & Decision Making: customer‑centric process, human‑centric design thinking, fact‑based solutions.
- Operational Execution: develop roadmaps, milestones and metrics, communicate progress, and support continuous improvement.
- Talent Management: build strong teams, recruit top professionals, and develop talent.
- Advocacy: collaborate internally and externally to prioritize the channel and secure necessary resources.
- Experience in both a branch and home office.
- Experience as a branch manager and managing multiple offices.
- Strong wealth management experience and a track record of recruiting and integrating new hires.
- Ability to motivate employees, build teams, and drive outcomes.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and maintain model integrity.
- Strategic thinker who can assess complex problems, prioritize issues, and maintain execution focus.
- Strong communication skills, able to present materials to senior leadership and serve as a subject‑matter expert.
- Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels and lead change.
- Strong gravitas and executive presence.
- Awareness of industry dynamics and best practices.
Total Target Compensation: $300,000–$350,000. Pay range is $ – $. Actual base salary varies based on factors such as relevant skill, prior experience, education, peer salary, and geographic location.
