About this role

Knowledge Management Manager leads and oversees the US Knowledge Management (KM) function, ensuring knowledge assets are embedded in core business processes and driving innovation in knowledge services. Reporting to the Solutions Director, this role manages a high‑performing team of KM professionals across sectors and service lines.

Responsibilities
  • Knowledge Management Strategy
    • Collaborate with the Senior Director, Solutions to develop KM’s role in the Solutions portfolio and drive the global KM strategy.
    • Ensure knowledge assets are embedded in business processes and accessible to consulting teams.
    • Coordinate with regional KM leaders and Strategy & Operations teams to set priorities and maintain global consistency.
    • Drive the firm’s knowledge agenda by identifying capability gaps, setting quality benchmarks, and championing best practices.
  • Team Management and Engagement
    • Provide oversight of the US KM team and India‑based Content team.
    • Support team members in developing expertise, building strong relationships, and amplifying impact.
    • Hold regular meetings with sector and service line teams to support progress on initiatives.
    • Drive continuous improvement of recommendations and support.
    • Oversee onboarding of new team members and professional development.
    • Foster a strong sense of community and shared purpose across the function.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement
    • Drive innovation and evolution of KM offerings, including automation, AI tools, new services, unified repositories, and technology initiatives.
    • Drive visibility and uptake of knowledge tools.
  • Stakeholder and Cross‑Functional Collaboration
    • Promote and elevate the KM value proposition to senior stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with other Solutions leads to integrate functions and knowledge.
    • Partner with sector and functional leaders and regional KM teams to align priorities.
    • Advise on new and existing KM initiatives, providing strategic guidance.
    • Represent KM interests in cross‑functional forums.
Qualifications
  • 5‑10+ years of experience in knowledge management, internal insights, or intellectual property (IP) management.
  • Proven track record of leading and developing high‑performing teams in a global or matrixed organization.
  • Strong understanding of KM principles, IP lifecycle management, and knowledge dissemination.
  • Deep familiarity with KM technologies and AI tools, including proprietary search solutions and generative AI platforms.
  • Experience working across sectors and service lines, setting priorities and driving global consistency.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate the value of KM.
  • Strong project management skills with a bias for action and continuous improvement.
  • U.S. work authorization required; no visa sponsorship available.
Additional Information
  • Salary range: $100,000 – $125,000 annually, plus potential discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package.

  • Location:

    Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, or San Francisco with hybrid work model (home office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and first Friday of each month).
