Summary
This position follows our hybrid-friendly schedule, providing flexibility and collaboration. In-office days will be 3 per week at our Southfield, MI corporate home office. The role leads the Branch & Concierge Services team in delivering exceptional client service by overseeing the development and execution of operational processes, systems, and infrastructure.
Licenses & Certifications- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) required prior to start (no exemption or grandfathering).
- Series 7 license required, or obtain within 120 days.
- Series 63 (or 66) license required, or obtain within 6 months.
- Supervise teams that provide administrative and service‑operations support.
- Oversee the development and execution of operational processes, systems, and infrastructure.
- Develop annual and long‑term business plans, forecast performance against KPIs, and deliver business cases.
- Communicate local action plans, explain how they relate to strategy, and motivate staff to achieve business goals.
- Set performance objectives for direct reports, use the performance management system, and hold people accountable.
- Develop short‑ or medium‑term work schedules, approve overtime, and allocate additional resources.
- Identify shortcomings in processes, systems, or procedures and use change‑management programs to address them.
- Advising managers on procedures and precedents, and provide technical guidance.
- Keep track of risk parameters, report deviations, and work within established risk‑management systems.
- Track budgets, report variances, and provide coaching to develop team members.
- Identify noncompliance with policies and procedures, report and escalates issues as appropriate.
- High School diploma or equivalent (required).
- General experience: 3–6 years.
- Managing experience: 13 months–3 years.
- Strong leadership and client‑first mindset.
- Deep understanding of financial services operations.
- Skilled in developing operational processes, change management, risk management, and performance management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data trends and create meaningful reports.
