Senior Director

The Senior Director for the Northeast Region oversees the planning, development, and delivery of Community Partnership School (CPS) strategies and support services. With a focus on academics, health, and social services, youth and community development, and engagement, the Senior Director facilitates the achievement of CPS outcomes in terms of improved student learning, stronger families, and healthier communities. Overall, the Senior Director for the Northeast Region contributes to CHS's high-performance culture by demonstrating our values and providing quality results that position CHS as the leader in delivering proactive behavioral health, child welfare management, community school, and early childhood solutions for children and families.

Primary Job Functions
1. Lead the planning, development, and implementation of CPS strategies and support services that facilitate the achievement of exceptional outcomes in improved student learning, stronger families, and healthier communities.
Program Strategic Management
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to position CHS as a leader in CPS education on a local, state, regional, and national level.
- Establish positive relationships with school districts, higher education systems, and other community partners.
- Confirm that CHS remains fully engaged in collaborative efforts with stakeholders, providing support as needed.
- Identify grants and funding sources; partner with the Grants Team to prepare federal, state, and community grant applications.
- Participate in the development of CPS interagency contracts and agreements.
- Participate in the creation and execution of the private fund development plan.
Program Development & Execution
- Act as the primary liaison with local communities and the University of Central Florida (UCF) Center for Community Schools to support full engagement in UCF-driven activities and design statewide structures, systems, and policies.
- Develop and execute plans identifying areas where CHS can employ CPS current resources and programming to make CHS unique and the provider of choice across the state.
- Oversee compliance with HS/EHS, CHS, COA, licensing, contractual, quality, and outcome standards.
- Provide consistency in service delivery with attention to inclusive practices and integration of component areas in partnership with CPS directors and school leadership.
- Promote CPS model fidelity while assisting community school directors in adapting to local policies and needs.
- Assist with the CPS budget development and monitoring of site fiscal performance.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities to improve the CPS program's efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide ongoing support to CPS directors.
2. Recruit, develop and lead a team capable of supporting CHS performance and growth strategies (complying with COA Standard TS, when appropriate), while fostering an engaging, positive work environment.
- Recruit, supervise, and support team members and foster their professional development, including the transfer of knowledge obtained through training.
- Establish annual team goals and objectives; track and report results.
- Coach, support and evaluate team member performance, taking corrective action if needed.
- Deliver timely communication through regular management and team meetings.
- Comply and confirm compliance with the CHS code of conduct, policies, practices, and other legal obligations.
- Implementing policies and practices designed to prevent, recognize, and respond to work-related stress.
- Participate in succession planning to build the bench strength necessary for future talent needs.
- Develop a strong knowledge base and stay current on job-related issues and trends.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, training and education, as well as the quality process.
- Pick up projects on the fly; perform other duties as assigned from time to time

Job Qualifications
Education, Licenses &
Certifications:
- Master's degree in Human Services, Education, or related field, required.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Experience:
- Five years of post-graduate experience in Human Services, Education or related area, required.
- Two years of management/supervisory experience, required.
- Experience leading Community Partnership School's, collaborative leadership and/or collective impact strategies, strongly preferred.
- Experience in grant writing, budgetary and fiscal management experience, strongly preferred.
