Work Arrangement: This is a full-time position located in Fort Worth, TX. Some roles may offer one day per week remote work. Our leaders support work-life balance and flexibility when life happens.
Responsibilities- Lead a team that supports a variety of Budget areas, including Equipment Rents, Joint Facilities, Haulage, and Passenger Services.
- Serve as a Budget Subject Matter Expert for Equipment Rents and Passenger Services.
- Develop and monitor processes, models, and reports to accurately monitor and forecast expenses.
- Perform balance sheet accruals, analysis support, metric reporting, and other projects for business partners using various tools.
- Lead/facilitate monthly budget reviews and forecasts with assigned operations groups, including the VP Service Design.
- Assist in the development of performance measures, strategic initiatives, and annual plans.
- Possess strong communication capabilities to ensure Finance Leadership understands variances across time frames.
- Contribute to a high-morale, high-performance culture and effectively organize team efforts to meet deadlines.
- Daily work conducted in an indoors office environment.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of work experience in a finance-related field.
- Expert understanding of GAAP and ability to research accounting issues to determine proper treatment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to handle multiple demands and shifting priorities; capable of respectfully challenging conclusions when appropriate.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA and/or public accounting experience.
- Master’s Degree in accounting or business administration.
