Leads delivery of field mobility technology projects / programs enabling electric and gas utility field crews to plan, receive, and execute work safely and efficiently. Accountable for end‑to‑end program delivery across mobile workforce management platforms, field application deployments, and integration with core work management, GIS, and asset management systems. Strong focus on field operations alignment, change management for frontline work forces, and measurable delivery outcomes in a regulated utility environment.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions
- Lead delivery of field mobility technology initiatives across electric and gas distribution operations.
- Manage end‑to‑end deployment of mobile applications and workforce management platforms for field crews.
- Coordinate Agile delivery and PI planning across IT, field operations, safety, and business stakeholders.
- Align stakeholders on field mobility roadmap, priorities, and program milestones.
- Oversee integration of mobile solutions with work management (e.g., EAM Hexagon, SAP PM), GIS, and scheduling systems.
- Drive field adoption and structured change management for technology rollouts to frontline employees and contractors.
- Manage program timelines, risks, dependencies, and third‑party vendor relationships.
- Ensure field mobility solutions meet regulatory, safety, and operational compliance requirements.
- Monitor delivery performance, identify continuous improvement opportunities, and report program status to leadership.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education or experience.
- 7+ years of relevant experience program/project management experience delivering technology solutions.
- Demonstrated experience managing mobile workforce or field technology deployments.
- Experience working in SAFe Agile environments with cross‑functional delivery teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to bridge IT and field operations.
- Proven ability to lead change management and technology adoption for frontline work forces.
- Experience in a regulated electric or gas utility or similar field‑operations‑intensive environment.
- Familiarity with field mobility platforms.
- Knowledge of work management systems.
- Understanding of GIS platforms and real‑time field crew dispatch and routing workflows.
- Experience managing technology initiatives with union and contractor field workforce populations.
- Exposure to IoT, connected worker, or digital field operations solutions.
