Job Description
We seek positive and motivated professionals who want to start a career in community and HOA management. Prior HOA experience is not required – our education program will provide you with an industry-leading foundation over a one‑year training period, after which you will become an expert in under three years.
What Is a Community Manager?The Community Manager is the face of our organization, serving as the liaison between HOA board members, homeowners, vendors, and our internal departments. The role requires ownership of all tasks and projects, exceptional customer service, vendor relationship management, portfolio oversight, and a positive, proactive attitude.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities- Live our Same Day Response Policy.
- Engage with board members and homeowners.
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly tasks for a portfolio of associations.
- Plan and facilitate association board and annual meetings.
- Handle vendor relations, bidding, and project management.
- Consult with other departments to support communities.
- Manage risk management, insurance, and litigation support.
- Prepare budgets and manage finances.
- Be available for after‑hours emergencies.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Success requires a customer‑centric, positive attitude; extreme ownership of tasks; teamwork; coachability; high organization; accountability; and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
Job Requirements / Skills- 8+ years of solid work experience.
- Availability for evening meetings (typically 30‑40 per year).
- High‑level organizational skills.
- Proficiency with office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other business systems.
- Strong customer‑friendly communication skills.
- Experience with financial statements and budgeting.
- Comfortable with public speaking in small and large meetings.
- Strong conflict management skills in stressful situations.
- Experience gathering bids and managing large projects.
- Mentor guidance and community‑manager tribe support.
- Interactive, web‑based learning academy.
- Continuous updates on laws and seasonal topics.
- Hybrid Empowerment Plan: after initial in‑office training, remote work based on manager approval.
- Annual salary $57,500 with bi‑annual performance reviews.
- 5 weeks of paid time off.
