Triple Crown Senior Living (TCSL) is a Management Company for multiple assisted living facilities in the region. The Regional Facilities Director oversees the maintenance operations for multiple communities within a designated region. This senior leadership role involves administering and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure all communities are maintained in optimal condition. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing maintenance strategies, and oversight of Maintenance Directors to include onboarding and training, and ensuring compliance with local, State and Federal regulations.
The Regional Facilities Director also monitors maintenance budgets, conducts regular inspections, and collaborates with maintenance and community staff members to address the site's needs. This position plays a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and reliability of community operations across the region.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee maintenance operations for multiple communities within region
- Develop and implement regional maintenance strategies and standards.
- In partnership with Executive Directors, participates in the recruitment and selection process, and provides onboarding and training for community Maintenance Directors.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to effectively address and resolve facility needs.
- Provides oversight and assistance in the procurement of necessary supplies and equipment to ensure smooth maintenance operations.
- Ensure compliance with local, state and federal safety regulations and building codes.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff.
- Address escalated maintenance issues and emergencies promptly, including after-hours situations, to ensure minimal disruption and maintain community safety and functionality.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on major projects and initiatives, with responsibility of taking on project management responsibilities to ensure successful completion.
- Provides input/feedback to Executive Directors regarding performance of community Maintenance Directors' productivity and effectiveness.
- Conduct monthly on-site audits on assigned communities and document findings.
- Identify and address the root cause of any negative impacts to the assigned assets.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the President to maintain or enhance the mission and values of the company.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Ability to read, write and understand English.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in property maintenance or a related field.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Extensive knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Utilize technology, including apps and computers, to streamline maintenance operations and improve efficiency.
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with residents and staff.
- Broad knowledge of state building codes, life safety and other local/state regulations regarding facilities operations.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with auto insurance.
- Ability to travel within the region as needed.
