About

the Role

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Global Commercial, the Senior Director, Commercial Operations will collaborate with field and home office personnel to provide insights and recommendations on a variety of commercial imperatives that impact the sales force and overall commercial success. This includes working closely with the Director of Analytics for forecasting support, and with the VP Molecular Imaging Cardiology, VP Molecular Imaging Oncology, Area Sales Directors and the Director of Strategic Accounts to provide data and customer insights that inform coaching, accountability practices, and strategic field curriculum.

The Senior Director will also lead vendor relationships and projects supporting the commercial strategy.

Preferred working arrangement: 3 days a week in the Needham, MA office with flexibility for remote work for qualified candidates outside Massachusetts; remote employees are expected to travel to Needham regularly.

Responsibilities
  • Recommend processes and procedures to support the MI Commercial Organization and facilitate implementation of MI commercial vision and strategies.
  • Assess, create, and implement recommendations for Commercial Operations efficiency and lead continuous improvement initiatives and best‑practice establishment.
  • Direct identification of performance metrics and KPIs, overseeing delivery of performance reports and sales dashboards using  and PowerBI.
  • Own and manage Operating Plan / Quota setting in collaboration with Finance and VPs.
  • Design and own the Pricing Council to drive accountability and ensure profitability targets.
  • Own and administer the Oncology Rebate Program with partners, aiming for full ownership within a year.
  • Lead design and administration of the Sales Incentive Compensation plan and related communications such as SIC, SPIFF and Circle of Excellence rankings.
  • Work with Finance, Accounting, Executive Leadership to facilitate SIC plans through formal approval processes, including SOX and audit.
  • Design, own and administer the annual commercial Circle of Excellence program, including budget, rules, and monthly updates.
  • Oversee the POSLUMA Sample Dose Program to ensure compliance and FDA reporting.
  • Collaborate on sales force sizing, deployment, segmentation, data acquisition, CRM enhancements, account alignments, and incentive design.
  • Analyze and optimize territory alignments and recommend adjustments.
  • Manage CRM () administration.
  • Lead training, learning and development initiatives.
  • Represent franchise sales on key work streams such as core launch teams, long‑range marketing plans, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Drive operational planning and transformation for new market conditions.
  • Lead planning and execution of potential sales force expansions.
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop sales strategies and plans.
  • Build peer support and strong internal relationships.
  • Coordinate with finance to manage expense budgets.
  • Coordinate with HR to manage calibration and year‑end review processes.
  • Perform other duties as determined by business needs.
