IT Project Manager
Program Manager of Technical Projects – support the Army G2 (FEDSIM) Integrated, Next-Generation, Versatile, Intelligence, Capabilities, Technologies & Applications (INVICTA) Program, an $800M IDIQ delivering advanced Situational Awareness applications and technologies to enhance MDO and improve C2 operations and C2 countermeasures (c-C2). The role serves as the Primary Technical Program Manager managing a complex range of Task Orders, ensuring successful stand‑up and overseeing execution, while supporting the Program Manager in driving technical execution, financial rigor, and strategic planning across this large, complex contract.
The position is located at a Leidos site in Northern Virginia and may transition to a hybrid‑remote work arrangement based on business needs.
- Initiate, plan, and execute complex, interdependent technical programs.
- Align emerging technologies and approaches to ensure teams meet technical mission outcomes.
- Identify, mitigate, and remove bottlenecks and roadblocks to keep programs on track.
- Coordinate cross‑functional work as a central Program Manager and reliable source of truth among engineering, product, and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Identify and close On Contract Growth opportunities.
- Serve as acting Program Manager when required.
- Distill program plans, roadmaps, and performance metrics, providing guidance to teams.
- Prepare and deliver program/project senior‑level briefings and deliverables.
- Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant experience (or 4 additional years in lieu of degree).
- Active DoD Secret security clearance.
- Proven experience leading mid to large DoD cost‑plus programs, with proficiency in executing and delivering program financials, technical, and schedule commitments.
- History of successfully leading and managing multiple programs of varying complexity, including innovation/R&D and services.
- Demonstrated leadership of cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to gain internal consensus, influence change, operate independently, and conceive innovative solutions.
- Strong oral, written, and customer‑facing communication skills.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Master’s degree or PMP/DAWIA certification.
- Experience managing programs exceeding $500M.
- Familiarity with Leidos project management processes and tools.
- Experience with Army G‑2, C5
ISR, INSCOM, or intelligence modernization programs. - Background in Multi‑Domain C2, ISR, data architectures, AI/ML.
