Job Description
Senior Manager – National Exempt Organization Tax Services. The role involves proactively managing client service, implementing tax strategies, researching issues, correspondence, meetings, and client development. The manager identifies opportunities for tax planning and other special services while effectively managing the work of client team members. They participate and contribute to the attainment of group goals, coach, mentor, and train team members, and contact, obtain and develop new exempt organization clients through new business development efforts.
Responsibilities- Proactively manage client service including implementing tax strategies, researching issues, correspondence, meetings and client development
- Identify opportunities for tax planning and other special services, while effectively managing the work of client team members
- Participate and contribute to the attainment of group goals
- Coach, mentor, and train team members
- Contact, obtain and develop new exempt organization clients through new business development efforts
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- Active CPA or Juris Doctor required
- 8+ years tax experience in public or industry with exempt organization background
- Form 990, 990-T and 990-PF experience required
- Strong communication and decision‑making skills for client issues
- Excellent project management and time‑management skills
This role follows a hybrid work model for candidates located near a Crowe office. Candidates who are not within commuting distance of a Crowe office may be considered for a remote work arrangement, subject to business needs.
