What you will do- Manage and grow the volunteer program at the Farm, including advertising, onboarding, instruction, supervision, communication and record‑keeping.
- Promote efficacy of programming and production through data collection and evaluation.
- Oversee efficient coordination of the day‑to‑day logistics of the Farm. Provide comprehensive operations and administration support across all aspects of Farm programming, including planning events, managing use of space by partners, planning and executing retreats for colleagues and ensuring protocols for site use and safety are followed.
- Coordinate and independently manage the Farm’s onsite food pantry, including inventory, membership, data tracking and process improvement.
- Manage the Farm’s social media to increase visibility and participation in Farm programs in coordination with Farm staff.
- Education:
Associates degree or equivalent. Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree with preference given to backgrounds in program management, health care administration, public health or community services. - Strong knowledge of program management.
- Proven ability to manage complex systems and maintain order and safety.
- Preferred:
Event planning and volunteer coordination and management experience. - Ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required for events and other duties.
