Job SummaryThe Director of Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services (PSR) and Emerging Adults (EA) provides senior level strategic, operational, and clinical oversight of Park Center's PSR and Emerging Adults programs. Operating at the intersection of program strategy and organizational leadership, this role is responsible for setting program direction, building and sustaining high-performing teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory and funding requirements, and driving measurable outcomes for members.
The Director serves as a key member of the senior leadership team and exercises independent judgment in translating organizational goals into program-level results.
This position is distinguished from Manager and Supervisor-level roles by its strategic scope, cross-functional accountability, and authority over program design, staffing structure, and resource allocation.

Education
Master's degree required in social work, psychology, counseling, public health, nonprofit management, or a closely related field.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in social work, sociology, vocational rehabilitation, or related field may be considered with substantial equivalent experience.
Experience
Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in mental health, behavioral health, or human services settings.
Minimum of three (3) years in a supervisory or management role with direct oversight of staff teams.
Demonstrated experience leading organizational or programmatic change, including navigating and addressing resistance.
Experience with Tenn Care-funded programs, PSR, Emerging Adults housing, and/or Emerging Adults populations strongly preferred.
People with lived experience of psychiatric diagnosis, addiction, homelessness, or trauma are strongly encouraged to apply.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong working knowledge of Tenn Care requirements, TDMHSAS licensure standards, and CARF accreditation expectations.
Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply financial and programmatic data to decision-making.
Skilled in performance management, including constructive coaching, corrective action, and professional development planning.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills appropriate for executive-level reporting, community engagement, and direct staff interaction.
Ability to build and maintain productive relationships across organizational levels and with external stakeholders.
Must possess a valid driver's license, proof of personal automobile insurance, and be insurable under Park Center's automobile insurance policy.
Must hold or obtain CPRP certification within one (1) year of hire.

This position operates in a professional office environment with remote work flexibility as operationally appropriate. Regular travel between Park Center's main office, EA housing sites, and community locations is required. Standard office equipment including computers, phones, and document management systems are used routinely.
Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this position, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle objects, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, and balance. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 10 pounds. Visual ability to detect errors is required.
Direct ReportsEmerging Adults (EA) Program Manager;
Emerging Adults (EA) Housing Supervisor; PSR Supervisor
Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Schedule flexibility may be required based on program needs.
Work Location948 Woodland St, Nashville, TN 37206; EA housing sites; and within the community as required.
