Job DescriptionAbout DTMB:
The Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services, including building management and maintenance, information technology, centralized contracting and procurement, budget and financial management, space planning and leasing, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems.
About the position:
This position will serve as the Senior Manager of Field Services Division with responsibility for directing the activities of statewide Field Services. This includes the setting of priorities, development of strategic plans, and ensuring that quality information technology services are provided to the Executive Branch of the State of Michigan to meet their business needs. This position will ensure that critical processes and structures are effectively operationalized and deployed throughout the enterprise ensuring quality, standardization, integration, and successful implementation of Field Services.
This position will keep the Senior Management Executive apprised of any issues or concerns regarding desktop services.
Position Location:
This position is located in Dimondale, MI. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview. The State of Michigan is not able to offer employment to out-of-state applicants that do not plan to relocate. The Department of Technology Management and Budget currently offers a hybrid work option which requires two days working on-site at the official work location and three days of remote work per week (subject to change).

Education and Experience
Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major. Experience Two years of experience as a professional manager or program/staff specialist, or equivalent experience.
AlternateEducation and Experience
Education level typically acquired through completion of high school and three years of safety and regulatory or law enforcement experience at the 14 level; or, two years of safety and regulatory or law enforcement experience at the 15 level, may be substituted for the education and experience requirements
