Store Manager, Operations Management

The Club Manager is the leader of a BJ's club, responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring profitability, and meeting strategic priorities. This role focuses on delivering exceptional value to members, managing and developing a talented team, and creating a safe and positive environment.

• Control operating costs and implement efficiencies
• Launch new concepts to maximize profitability
• Promote the company’s core values and ensure team adherence
• Deliver an outstanding shopping experience that exceeds member expectations
• Meet profit objectives through effective techniques, technology, and productivity enhancements
• Monitor expenses and adjust spend to achieve profit targets
• Achieve planned sales volume via warehouse oversight and communication with Home Office
• Maintain a roadmap for key performance areas (productivity, audit, shrink, turnover) as directed by Home Office

• 4+ years of experience as a retail, supermarket, or warehouse operations manager
• Strong drive for results and solid work ethic
• Honest, straightforward, and committed to providing high levels of service
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a large team
• Solid understanding of profit & loss statements, shrink control, staff development, merchandising, customer service, problem solving, and conflict resolution
• High school diploma and/or college degree preferred
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including cross-functional team supervision and training
• Open shift availability required
• Minimum 18 years of age

• Frequently moving on hard surfaces, bending, pulling, reaching, climbing, or stooping
• Lifting up to 30 pounds regularly; occasionally lifting heavier objects with assistance
• Indoor environment with temperature extremes and loud noises
• Occasional exposure to cleaning agents
