Part-Time Clerk Postion at Van Wert BMV

Summary

The Van Wert BMV is hiring for a part‑time clerk position. This is NOT a state position and does not have benefits. The position is for 15‑30 hours a week with three paid holidays. The pay rate starts at $14.00.

• Open the office each day in the morning and close it at the end of the day.
• Serve customers by issuing plates, IDs and driver’s licenses.
• Conduct out‑of‑state inspections at the location.
• Maintain computer records and provide excellent customer service.

• Computer and customer service experience.
• Must be able to pass an FBI & BCI background check and have no major offenses or felonies.
• Availability to work 15‑30 hours per week, including Saturdays (7:45‑12:15/12:30) and the required weekdays (7:45‑5:15/5:30).
• Must be willing to work home during evenings and be closed on holidays and Sundays.
