Position Overview
Business Continuity Manager at Zions Bancorporation. As part of a dynamic local bank, you will lead Business Continuity initiatives, ensuring resilience against disruptions. This role offers a 4/1 hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities- Shape the strategic direction of the business continuity program and support design, implementation, and maturation of comprehensive plans.
- Communicate and oversee program strategy, methodology, and objectives for risk assessment, business impact analysis, plan development, testing, reviews, and training.
- Support development & maintenance of BC policies, standards, procedures to meet internal and regulatory requirements.
- Drive implementation and governance of the program, aligning with regulatory guidance and coordinating with internal & external teams.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve business continuity plans for all critical functions and processes.
- Establish metrics and reporting framework to communicate program status, performance, compliance, and risk gaps to leadership.
- Lead risk assessment exercises, identify vulnerabilities, develop actionable insights and prioritize improvements.
- Organize and execute regular testing & validation of plans, interpreting test results and refining strategies.
- Collaborate with IT, Risk, Finance, Operations, and Compliance to ensure alignment and integration of plans.
- Support training & development of junior staff to drive execution against objectives.
- Assist with 2L, 3L, and regulatory engagements.
- Stay current on industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, or related field.
- Advanced degree or professional certifications in Business Continuity Management preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in business continuity planning, emergency and incident planning, analysis, and methodology.
- Proven experience as a Business Continuity Manager in a financial services organization.
- Excellent leadership skills with proven ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, crisis management protocols, and regulatory requirements for banking.
- Knowledge of banking operations a plus.
- Expert knowledge of business continuity planning, emergency and incident planning, analysis, concepts, methodology, and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to adapt strategies to evolving circumstances.
- High ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality and data security.
Base salary range: $108,000 - $132,000 annually, based on experience and location.
