Cemetery Maintenance Supervisor

Position: Cemetery Maintenance Supervisor Role
Lead cemetery maintenance operations as a Supervisor, ensuring compliance and high-quality service. Collaborate on capital projects and develop a skilled team focused on customer satisfaction.

In this role, you will oversee all maintenance activities within the cemetery while ensuring environmental, wildlife, and safety regulations are strictly followed. Your leadership will develop a strong team, manage groundskeeping, and coordinate schedules effectively. You will also play a key role in collaborating with the home office on capital expenditure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all cemetery operations and maintenance

• Establish quality, work, and safety expectations

• Coordinate staff schedules and manage time-off requests

• Build relationships with local authorities for issue resolution

• Approve invoices and manage inventory of tools

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Minimum 8 years of cemetery maintenance experience

• At least 2 years' staff management experience

• Strong knowledge of environmental regulatory compliance

• Experience in new construction project management
