Position: Timber Supply Manager - Remote Opportunity
Engage in strategic timber procurement and inventory planning with Stella-Jones as a Regional Timber Supply & Inventory Planning Manager. This remote position requires significant travel for effective timber management across operations.

In this role, you will oversee timber procurement, coordinating supply and inventory across red pine and white wood operations. You must manage the balance between harvest planning and production demand, ensuring compliance and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will be adept in report analysis and possess strong organizational skills, with a minimum of five years’ experience in forestry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage timber procurement and inventory planning

• Conduct monthly wood flow planning and inspections

• Collaborate with stakeholders on inventory challenges

• Oversee logging contractors and timber sales

• Monitor supplier inventory and transportation planning

Requirements:

• Degree in Forestry or related field

• Minimum five years’ experience in forestry

• Clean driver’s license and driving abstract

• Strong analytical and organizational skills

• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather
