Vice President, Fixtures, Furniture, and Equipment

Full Time 30-39 Hour US

POSITION SCOPE

We are recruiting a visionary candidate to spearhead our Fixtures, Furniture, and Equipment business. Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President of Financial Operations, this role drives transformative growth through strategic business development, P&L accountability and operational excellence. The role includes the management and development of retail store, distribution center and office closures, commercial white boxing services, and high‑value metals/scrapping from facility closures and remodels.

The VP will shape the division's future, scaling operations to capture market leadership and enhance profits.

The candidate may work remote but be able to travel at least 50-70% of their time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Business Development & Growth Strategy:
    Develop, manage and execute enterprise‑level sales and marketing strategies to secure projects with national retailers, commercial property managers and REITs, and institutional clients. Forge strategic alliances across internal and external platforms to enhance and improve client relationships and services. Build and maintain a CRM to support the construction and implementation of a comprehensive marketing plan.
  • P&L Ownership:
    Deliver full P&L accountability for this growing business, optimizing revenue streams, cost structures, and EBITDA margins through sourcing and managing existing and new projects and opportunities.
  • Operational Leadership:
    Champion scalable operations across project execution, asset management, leveraging technology for efficiency gains.
  • Retail Store, Distribution Center and Office closures:
    Lead and support disposition initiatives related to fixed assets located in retail stores, distribution centers and office closures.
  • Commercial Property White Boxing Solutions:
    Direct turnkey white boxing programs for commercial properties, including installation and removal of mezzanine, conveyor, and racking, and assisting with relocations and design.
  • Metals & Scrapping Optimization:
    Oversee commodity recovery from closures/remodels, maximizing yield through partnerships with recyclers and traders.
  • Team Building:
    Recruit, develop, and empower a support team; cultivate a high‑performance culture aligned with GA’s corporate vision.
  • Enterprise Alignment:
    Partner with C‑suite on M&A opportunities, capital allocation, and long‑range planning.
  • Risk & Compliance Oversight:
    Embed enterprise risk management, regulatory adherence, and sustainability metrics into all initiatives.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • University degree or equivalent senior level industry experience considered.
  • Proven leadership in asset recovery, liquidation services, FFE, or facilities management and dispositions, with demonstrated project negotiation and sourcing experience.
  • History of transformative business development, including strategic acquisitions or partnerships.
  • Deep expertise in retail/commercial fixtures, DC optimization, or metals commodities sectors.
  • Must have strategic vision with a history of execution excellence in a senior leadership role.
