Position Overview

The Supervisor, Program Management leads individuals and teams to accomplish daily tasks and projects, working with the Director to ensure alignment with organizational priorities, strategic initiatives, and customer needs. The Supervisor provides leadership and mentorship to direct reports, prioritizes and assign tasks, supervise performance and conduct staff evaluations, and ensure team processes function efficiently and effectively. The Supervisor helps to guide program direction and growth, drive measurable impact across programs.

Essential Duties

Program Leadership:

• Identify emerging opportunities, industry trends, and regulatory developments to inform program direction and growth.
• Ensure alignment and collaboration across clinical programs, internal teams, customers, and external partners to maximize impact.
• Monitor program performance, evaluate outcomes, and drive continuous improvement through data-informed decision-making.
• Serve as a key advocate and spokesperson for clinical programs, communicating program value and outcomes to internal and external stakeholders.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Establish priorities, manage resource allocation, and ensure successful execution of program work and organizational commitments.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Provide input to the Director on staffing and resourcing needs, including recruitment, professional development, and staff recognition.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and operating standards.

Organizational Improvement and Change Leadership:

• Champion a culture of continuous improvement, organizational learning, and effective change management.
• Identify, escalate, and mitigate program risks and operational issues as appropriate.
• Contribute as a dependable leader within the Practice Transformation Team and support organizational priorities as assigned

Requirements

• The ideal candidate is a mission-driven leader with strong relationship-building skills and systems-thinking mindset; excel in fast-paced environments and are passionate about developing people; and can effectively translate strategy into scalable processes and organizational improvement.
• Master's degree in healthcare administration, public health, business administration, program management, health informatics, nursing, or a related field preferred
• 3 years of progressive experience in program management, healthcare operations, clinical programs, population health or a related field; previous people leadership experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives and translating strategic priorities into measurable outcomes.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, including the Model for Improvement and PDSA cycles, is preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 25% to both urban and rural locations

• Constant interpersonal skills, teamwork, and customer service. Frequent creativity, mentoring, presentations, and teaching. Occasional decision making and independent judgment or action.
• Reading, speaking, writing, and understanding English.
• While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms.
• This position requires a virtual home-office environment, working remotely.
• The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and mobile devices.
• Travel is required to support OCHIN's business requirements for go-live installations or training which may require travel by air, vehicle, or train.
